The surrounding environment allows our guests the possibility to be refreshed by the Icelandic nature as the cottage is located on the edge of Kjarnaskógur, which is one of the most popular outdoor areas in Akureyri. In the woodlands of Kjarnaskógur are hiking trails, volleyball court, picnic areas, barbecue facilities and playground equipment for children. There is also a specially designed mountain biking track. The walking paths for skiers are plowed in winter.
