Eyja Guldsmeden is a boutique hotel with 65 rooms and is located right off Laugavegur, the main shopping street, and next to Hlemmur Square, offering a view over the city and its signature mountain Esja.

Eyja operates by the guidelines of the Guldsmeden Hotels, based on sustainability and ecology. Eyja has also received the Green Globe Certificate. At Eyja Guldsmeden the emphasis is on local and organic food products and environmental responsibility.
